as easy as breathing

in the studio

I refreshed my studio space recently and have been feeling a renewed sense of energy in my creative practice. I cleared things out, reorganized, dusted, and made room for a more functional workflow. I also added something big—a second table—giving me twice as much room so I can keep more works in progress visible and within reach.

Some pieces come together quickly, while others evolve over time through ongoing tinkering. Having easy access to them—and being able to see them throughout the day—helps me stay connected to the process. I’m always looking for small ways to make my practice feel more easeful and open, creating space for ideas and inspiration to flow.

Two new pieces have come from this energetic shift. As Easy As Breathing and Just In Case It Exists. I often listen to music while I work, and these two titles came from song lyrics. Any ideas what songs they’re from?

My home staging collaboration with @mihousetohome has begun! And while professional photos are coming soon, this week I got my first glimpse of Tell Me More and Zooming Out in their new —albeit temporary—space. It’s always feels special to see my work on your walls. If you are a realtor, interior designer or someone looking to add a touch of handmade beauty to a space, let’s connect!

What I listen to while I work changes based on the day. Lots of times it is music, and other times I crave silence. When I’m feeling sort of in between, tree.fm is a fave. You can tune into a random forest from around the world, and I find it’s an instant dose of expansive peaceful calm.
