leaf animals

I love making "things out of other things". Especially when they are discarded, unexpected or playful. I intuitively gravitate towards reimagining and experimenting with new materials and mediums.

I dug up an old and (possibly my most favorite!) project I worked on when I was in design school. The assignment was to redesign an annual report for The Toledo Zoo.

I created the animal graphics by collaging different colors of fall leaves. They were cut and glued by hand, then scanned and given a digital color background.
